My poor, little neglected blog. I have been so busy with shoots, editing, kindergarten, kids’ activities (I think you get the point), that I keep forgetting to post sessions. SO bad of me! I decided today to queue up a whole bunch of posts, both of clients and of my girls (because we take a LOT of pictures!) I haven’t been sharing much here (but I do post a lot of my Facebook page, so be sure to like Peanut and Pip Photography to see the most recent pictures!
Now back to business!
First up is this amazing, sweet family I had the pleasure to spend time with back in July! We traveled up to their gorgeous home and took some fun pictures in their yard and in front of their house. But the real fun began when I brought out a very special, vintage tricycle I had been saving for just the right shoot. When my next-door neighbor was cleaning out some stuff, she asked me if I’d want it, and I couldn’t say yes fast enough. I have since used it SO many times and I never get tired of it. Its really become one of my favorite props ever. The twins LOVED that tricycle (and we had some fun with other props with it to you, as you’ll see below) but Nico REALLY became happy when I took out my cool vintage car! Oh the smiles! I guess boys just have an innate love of cars!
It took Nico and Natalia a little bit to warm up (they were tired from a busy summer day), but I love serious faces anyway! And at least their dads were all smiles:
I’m pretty sure the twins’ amazing nanny, Carol was behind me making them laugh. She was AMAZING that day and I was so grateful for her help: We had so much fun with the tricycle: Nice is one suave kid: I love this shot of Natalia: This picture has been featured on Let the Kids Dress Themselves and Prop Insanity on Facebook with a lot of love. Its definitely one of my favorite pictures I’ve ever taken: Kids seem to love this car and its no wonder. its so cool: I loved getting to know this family! Thanks Joe & Chris!!
