Donohue Extended Family | Long Island Family Photographer

What’s better than shooting a big, beautiful family on a beach at sunset? When that family is one you grew up around and getting the opportunity to meet the next generation of that family! Photography continues to bring people back into my life and it is a such a blessing. I was so honored to be asked to capture all the grandkids for Grandma. I was a little surprised when she got out of the car, dressed for the session. It was supposed to be a surprise but they couldn’t resist telling her about it and including her! And I was so happy they did that!

I love all the personalities of these kids and I love how much they all love each other:

Love that!: Extended family beach sunset Extended family beach sunsetI love that my clients trust me completely. When I asked them to grab a ladder to bring to the shoot (they live a block away from the beach), they didn’t really question why. I wasn’t sure this would work out (we couldn’t get the 2 year old to play along), but I love it: Extended family beach sunsetA beautiful sunset, a rainbow and a sweet family. After we finished up their pictures, we did pictures with Kara and her two gorgeous daughters and had an even more amazing sunset! Check out that session here.
